Tea & Food Pairing!   Join me in the kitchen http://bit.ly/2VDhurN for a tea and food pairing of delicious carrot/apple loaf http://bit.ly/2V7PBTn with two perfect herbals, both containing real apples. It really is super easy to make and really delicious! You might want to use just a tad less oil if you don’t like it ‘fall apart moist’.
You can serve this with butter or top it with cream cheese, if you like.  But it’s so delicious just warm out of the oven, you won’t want to add a thing!
Here is the recipe:
Whisk together:
1 large egg
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup (or less) liquid coconut oil or canola
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup sour cream or yogurt
2 tsps vanilla extract
2 tsps cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Add & Stir Until Combined:
1 cup flour 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
FOLD IN: 1 cup grated carrots & 1 cup grated apple
Put batter in oiled & floured loaf pan (app. 9″ x 4″) BAKE in pre-heated 350F oven for 45 to 50 min. Let cool 15 min. in pan, then remove to metal rack to finish cooling ENJOY!!
