Why do you charge a flat rate for Shipping & handling regardless of amount or location in the Continental U.S.?

We ship U.S. Postal Service. Shipping and handling is $7.50 regardless of amount/size of order.

How soon do you ship?

Normally next day…5-7 working days after order is received, unless we are out of stock on an item, in which case it is shipped to you immediately on its’ arrival here. We run tight inventories for freshness and immediately reorder when stock is low. We will contact you if an item you have ordered is out of stock and give you an expected date of shipment.

How long have you been in business?

Diane Walden was co-founder of a tea retail business in the early 2000′s with a partner. She and her husband Vern co-founded California Tea & Coffee Brewery in 2008 and the concept retail store in Temecula, California, opened in July 2008. We made the decision to close the original store in December of 2012 and move online. We are currently a wholesale and online company.

Who do you buy your teas from?

We ‘cherry pick’ teas and herbals from a number of wholesale vendors it has taken us years to find. We do not buy all of our teas from any one vendor, but rather choose only those we feel best represent their category. The best Chamomile, the best Rooibos, best of each tea category. Best for us is all about taste. We like teas and herbals that are/taste fresh & full of flavor or best represent the qualities they are known for. Our teas and vendors are tightly held trade secrets which we protect carefully.

TO PRIVACY POLICY & SITE SECURITY We do not solicit personal information about customers on our website aside from PayPal payment requirements by them when you order. Please read PayPal’s Privacy Policy when you order if you have not done so. If you email us, your information is not published on our site and we respond personally. We also do not sell personal information to third parties. We will update our Privacy Policy if any changes are made.

RETURNS: Within 15 days of receiving your order, if there is a problem with the merchandise, email us at info@calteas.com & tell us the problem, the product, and the best time & phone # to reach you to give you a Return Confirmation number. All teas/herbal packages returned must be down only 1/4 oz. for refund, and return shipping charges will be paid by us only when the merchandise arrived to you damaged.
