Diane shares some fun facts and brews three chamomile options in this fun YouTube video  http://bit.ly/2wrmmjG -Egyptian Chamomile http://bit.ly/2t2yO82, Chamomile Citrus http://bit.ly/2qH2ARW, and Chamomile Peppermint http://bit.ly/2vpBv3W.

This golden herbal is a member of the same genus/family as daisies and asters. There are a number of species, but the most common in infusions and cosmetics/lotions are Roman and German.  Egyptian Chamomile is only grown in Egypt, and is of the German variety.

Brew this herbal at approximately 195F for 3-4 minutes. Any longer and many teas and herbals will become bitter. It is delicious hot or iced, and has a soft, gentle, slightly floral/sweet ambience. One of our customers described it as ‘liquid sunshine’. 🙂

Naturopaths and even sites like webmd.com state numerous benefits, which seem to center on its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and relaxing properties. It has been used in herbal medicine for a sleep aid, for eczema and for stomach issues. You should always check with your doctor before using any tea or herbal for physical/medical issues.
